Disney has officially announced its newest vessel, the Disney Believe, which is scheduled to begin its maiden voyage on December 18, 2027, departing from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
A centerpiece of the new itinerary will be the world premiere of a stage adaptation of “Encanto,” marking the first time the property has been adapted for live theater. The production is being developed specifically for the Disney Believe and will not be available on other ships in the fleet.
Additionally, the line introduced “Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast,” a new dining experience described as an untold chapter in the “Frozen” saga. Guests will join Oaken, Anna, and Kristoff for a communal meal set in a forest courtyard, accompanied by musical performances from Oaken’s relatives.
The ship will also feature The Grand Hall, a performance venue designed to resemble the luminous, oceanic world from Disney Animation’s “Moana” films, where characters from across the Disney universe will take the stage.
Other attractions based on Disney intellectual property include the Wishing Well, a social space inspired by “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”; Gazelle, an entertainment hub featuring family-friendly shows with evening options for adults, drawing from “Zootopia”; Inside Out: Joyful Sweets, offering treats based on the expanded emotional cast from “Inside Out 2”; and new cafes themed to “Big Hero 6” and “Moana.”
The Disney Believe will join existing sister ships Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny. It serves as part of Disney Cruise Line’s broader expansion strategy, which aims to grow the fleet to 13 ships by the end of 2030.
