Harvey Keitel headlines the cast of “The Method,” the first feature film directed and co-written by Gaurav Bhardwaj. The project is a joint production by Travelin Bone Entertainment and Imagination Infinite Motion Pictures.
Joining Keitel in the New York-set drama are Mina Sundwall, known for her roles in “Murdaugh: Death in the Family” and “Lost in Space,” along with newcomers Rakshit Bhuchar and Rohan Maletira, both making their feature film debuts.
The narrative is set within the competitive New York acting landscape, focusing on a gifted Indian actor who becomes mentored by Keitel’s character. As the story unfolds, themes of ambition, friendship, and artistic integrity collide, forcing the mentor to challenge his students on the personal sacrifices required for professional success.
Bhardwaj described the project as a deeper exploration of aspiration and human connection rather than a simple portrait of the acting world. He noted that the film follows four distinct artists—an Indian actor, a Canadian actor, an American playwright and director, and Keitel’s revered teacher—each reflecting phases of his own creative journey.
“The film explores the universal struggle to preserve our identities when our ambitions begin demanding that we sacrifice parts of ourselves,” Bhardwaj said. “I want audiences to experience the same conflict our characters face – the tension between the relationships we value and the ambitions we choose to pursue.”
Production has concluded in New York and New Jersey, with the film slated for release in 2027. Travelin Bone, founded by Marc Sternberg, Steve Garrow, and Naresh Malik, previously produced the Netflix original “CTRL.” The company aims to build a slate appealing to both Indian and international audiences.
“With ‘The Method,’ we are bringing together exceptional talent and creative teams from both countries,” said Garrow, who praised Bhardwaj’s confidence and Keitel’s iconic presence. Lalit Bhatnagar, founder of Imagination Infinite Motion Pictures, added that the project reflects the growing globalization of content and talent, breaking down traditional market boundaries.
