Microsoft’s Office and Teams Chief Ryan Roslansky Exits After Nearly 18 Years

Ryan Roslansky is leaving Microsoft, concluding a career at the company and its acquired arm LinkedIn that spanned nearly 18 years. Roslansky, who previously served as LinkedIn’s CEO, was elevated to lead the Office division last year and subsequently assumed control of Microsoft Teams earlier this year.

His exit has prompted another round of leadership adjustments within the tech giant. In an internal memo reviewed by The Verge, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella praised Roslansky’s contributions.

“Ryan leaves the organization in a strong position,” Nadella wrote. “Over the past year, Ryan’s team has done critical work bringing together the product, engineering, and design foundations that have made this next phase possible.”

  1. Does anyone else find it ironic the guy who scaled LinkedIn is leaving right when Office 365 needs to keep the momentum going? Just my two cents.
