78 Migrants Including Newborn Rescued in Mediterranean

At least 78 individuals, including a newborn infant, were saved from the Mediterranean Sea following a series of rescue operations conducted by a non-governmental organization vessel on Tuesday. SOS Mediterran reported that the survivors had been subjected to three separate search missions to locate those in distress.

According to the organization, the rescued migrants were suffering from heat exhaustion, dehydration, and fuel burns, underscoring the hazardous conditions faced during their journey across the water.
