In a separate charge, Andrew is accused of engaging in sexual activity with a 15-year-old minor in Romania. Additionally, prosecutors have requested the confiscation of four luxury vehicles owned by the brothers, valued at approximately \u00a3710,000, arguing that the cars were purchased using laundered money.<\/p>\n
The legal process is not yet final; DIICOT must determine if extradition from the US is sought, and a judge must review the new indictment before a trial can commence. The Tates have denied all allegations, maintaining that their online personas do not reflect their true characters.<\/p>\n
Eugen Constantin Vidineac, the brothers’ lawyer, emphasized that the new indictment does not establish guilt. He described the filing as the prosecution’s latest effort to bring the case to court after a previous indictment was dismissed due to significant irregularities identified by the judiciary.
