“Look, she did a horrible, horrible thing. Can’t be worse,” Trump said. “But you’ll find out what the price to pay is. There’ll be a price. It’s going to be mental institution or jail or something.” He also noted that a retrial remains possible, remarking that the outcome was “too bad.”<\/p>\n
The mistrial followed 36 hours of jury deliberation, during which jurors reported multiple times that they could not reach a unanimous verdict.
