During the production, he visited Dollywood, Parton\u2019s theme park, where relatives had traced the Parton and Owens family lines back to Wales.<\/p>\n<p>Although he was offered the chance to sit down with the country music legend after filming concluded, Brydon decided to remain on his holiday. Parton passed away on August 25 in a Nashville hospital following a brief cancer battle, having been admitted four days earlier for kidney and autoimmune issues.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to Lucy Owen on BBC Radio Wales, Brydon admitted, &#8220;I sort of regret it now.
