Argentina\u2019s President, Javier Milei, has escalated tensions with the United Kingdom by announcing plans to impose economic sanctions on companies conducting oil exploration near the Falkland Islands. Speaking in a national address from the presidential palace, Milei asserted that the islands are “historically and legally” Argentine and warned that firms operating in the region pose a “clear and present danger.”<\/p>\n
