NEW YORK — Jewish demonstrators joined a Free Palestine march in New York on Saturday, asserting that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu does not speak for all Jews.
The marchers held signs reading “not in his name” and “Jews against the genocide,” emphasizing that they do not support Israel’s actions in Gaza and that Netanyahu does not represent their views.
The demonstration took place near Trump Tower, where hundreds of pro-Israel supporters had gathered under banners such as “Finish the job.” Police estimated around 600 counter-protesters assembled near Columbus Circle.
