An auction of personal belongings belonging to French film star and animal rights advocate Brigitte Bardot took place in Paris on Monday, raising nearly €1 million. The sale, conducted by the auction house Millon, significantly surpassed initial projections, achieving approximately 20 times the estimated value.
The event featured 285 distinct lots, including dog collars, musical instruments, self-portraits, straw hats, sunglasses, nightgowns, tableware, and furniture. Many of these items originated from Bardot’s residences in Saint-Tropez and Paris.
According to reports from Agence France-Presse, the collection generated considerable enthusiasm among bidders. All proceeds from the sale are designated to support Bardot’s animal welfare foundation and her son.
