Greek law enforcement has launched an investigation into the death of an 82-year-old man who died after a fight broke out at a beach on the Athenian riviera. The incident occurred at the popular bathing destination of Vouliagmeni on Sunday morning.
According to reports, the victim arrived at the beach before 10:00 am with the intention of securing a sunbed. However, tensions rose shortly after when he encountered a 76-year-old man he did not know. Authorities state that the conflict escalated from a verbal argument over the shortage of available loungers into a physical brawl.
