Waltz argued that the restriction targets media personnel who are not conducting themselves in good faith.
“Dana, the president is absolutely within his rights to limit journalists to government…” Waltz said, though the quote was truncated in the original statement, he made clear his support for the administration’s stance on journalistic accountability.
The comments come amid growing tension between the Trump White House and certain news organizations over press access and reporting standards.
CNN and Politico are political operatives in news clothing. Shouldn’t that disqualify them from access?
