Trump Signs Orders Easing Hunting Rules, Promises Broader Outdoors Legislation

President Trump announced a series of executive actions designed to reduce regulations on hunting and fishing during a Thursday dinner in the Rose Garden. The event drew more than 100 participants, including anglers, hunters, and representatives from the outdoor industry.

During the gathering, Trump emphasized the administration’s stance that public lands are a resource for all Americans. He stated that hunters, fishers, and outdoor enthusiasts should have unrestricted access to these areas.

Alongside the immediate executive orders, the president teased upcoming legislative efforts, suggesting a more comprehensive ‘Outdoors Act 2.0’ is in development to further support recreational access and industry interests.
