Presented in partnership with PepsiCo, TIME has announced the 13 individuals making up its fourth annual TIME Latino Leaders list. The honorees, all based in the United States, were chosen for their significant impact on their respective industries and broader society. The complete roster can be viewed online.
According to TIME editors, the list was curated to coincide with Hispanic Heritage Month, a tradition the publication has maintained since 2023. The 2026 selection aims to reflect the diverse experiences and backgrounds within the Latino community, which currently constitutes one-fifth of the U.S. population and continues to expand its economic and cultural footprint. Editors noted that each recipient has leveraged their heritage to achieve professional success while often prioritizing the upliftment of others.
The 2026 class features a broad range of professionals, including Ana Valdez, president and CEO of the Latino Donor Collaborative; Cástulo de la Rocha, president and CEO of AltaMed Health Services Corporation; and NBA champion Jose Alvarado. Also recognized are Julián Castro, CEO of the Latino Community Foundation; Luana Lopes Lara, co-founder and COO of Kalshi; and Marina Larroudé, co-founder of the fashion label Larroudé.
Additional honorees include Mónica Ramírez, founder and president of Justice for Migrant Women; chef and restaurateur Nelson German; actors and singers Rachel Zegler and Sofia Carson; advocates Ronaldo Salgado and Lorenzo Salgado Jr.; and author Xochitl Gonzalez.
To celebrate the announcements, TIME will host a special cocktail reception in Miami on October 27. The event, presented by premier partner PepsiCo, will feature remarks from Carson, Castro, and Athina Kanioura, CEO of PepsiCo Latin America and Global Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer.
