Marine Le Pen Launches Campaign Focusing on Citizens and Cost of Living

Marine Le Pen has officially begun her election campaign, opening with a pledge to prioritize French citizens. Speaking on Sunday, the leader of the Rally to the National (RN) centered her message on addressing the housing shortage and the ongoing cost-of-living crisis.

The launch event took place in the city of Amiens, located approximately 130 miles (210 kilometers) north of Paris. Le Pen declared that the primary objective of her campaign would be to place French nationals above all other considerations.

In addition to prioritizing citizens, the presidential candidate highlighted the need to resolve the nation’s housing supply issues. She further indicated that alleviating financial burdens for the public would be a focal point of her platform as the race for the presidency heats up.

  1. Interesting pivot to domestic issues. Seems like Le Pen is trying to distance herself from recent scandals by focusing on daily struggles.

  2. Hope the housing promises aren’t just empty rhetoric. The cost of living crisis is real and needs immediate, tangible solutions.
