British newspapers led with reports on a historic £72m financial injection into Reform UK over the weekend, a contribution described by the party’s leader, Nigel Farage, as vital for future governance preparations.

The Daily Mail highlighted Farage’s jubilant reaction to the funds, labeling it an “investment in democratic renewal” and noting his intention to use the capital to professionalize the party. Similarly, the Sunday Telegraph reported that this double donation raises Reform’s total receipts for the year to £86m, significantly outpacing the £10.2m raised by the Conservatives and £7.7m by Labour.

According to the Sunday Times, the cash was provided by two cryptocurrency billionaires, Christopher Harborne and Ben Delo, each contributing £36m.
