Dozens of people were injured on Monday after Russian ballistic missiles struck locations in Kyiv and Rivne, Ukraine.
At the Vasil Stefanyk Precarpathian National University in Rivne, an attack damaged a residential building housing students. Emergency officials reported that among the injured were three individuals in critical condition. The exact number of casualties has not yet been released, and the circumstances surrounding the strike are currently under investigation by local authorities.
Simultaneously, an explosion occurred in the Shevchenko district of Kyiv. Residents of the affected building were temporarily evacuated for safety assessments. Officials stated that two people suffered injuries as a result of the incident.
Another missile strike, yet still no clear explanation from Kyiv for why these targets were so exposed. What is the strategy here?
This is absolutely devastating. Hitting a student residence is a war crime. We must not forget these civilians.
