An Amazon cargo aircraft overran the runway at Miami International Airport on Sunday, crashing into nearby vehicles and resulting in multiple injuries. The full extent of the structural damage and the severity of the injuries were not immediately clear.
The FAA confirmed that 21 Air Flight 7598, a Boeing 767-300 freighter, exited the runway after landing around 2 p.m. local time on September 6. The flight had departed from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Following the incident, authorities grounded flights at the airport, disrupting over 60 departures and arrivals.
