Following the disappointing response from investors regarding its AI datacentre operations, Firmus Technologies has called off its highly anticipated initial public offering on the Australian Securities Exchange. The move marks a significant retreat for the company, which had aimed to execute the largest share float on the ASX since the landmark Telstra listing in 1997.
According to a company spokesperson, the board concluded that moving forward with the proposed $11-per-share offer would no longer serve the best interests of the organization or its stakeholders. The decision comes as a blow to expectations that the firm would be among the most prominent new market debuts in recent years.
