US Energy Secretary Chris Wright stated on Sunday that the United States might not reach a nuclear agreement with Iran that would successfully prevent the country from developing nuclear weapons.
Speaking to ABC, Wright acknowledged the possibility of a failed deal as negotiations appear to be at a standstill. His comments come against the backdrop of an ongoing US-Israel military campaign against Iran.
Wright did not provide specifics on alternative strategies but confirmed the uncertainty surrounding the diplomatic efforts to curb Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
