The jury in the trial of former New South Wales police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon has been shown photographs of the victims’ decomposed remains. The proceedings center on the February 2024 deaths of Jesse Baird and her partner, television presenter Luke Davies.
Court testimony revealed that ballistic evidence indicated a firearm was pressed against the body of Mr. Baird at close proximity when the shots were fired. The jury was shown images documenting the scene and the condition of the bodies upon discovery.
Mr. Lamarre-Condon, who is the former partner of Ms. Baird, has entered pleas of not guilty to the charges of murdering both Mr. Baird and Mr. Davies. The trial continues as legal teams present their cases regarding the incidents.
Luke Davies was such a known face. Hard to believe he’s gone at such a young age.
I hope the prosecution’s case is watertight with all this ballistic evidence. Justice must be served.
The detail about the firearm pressed against the body is chilling. How does someone do that?
This is absolutely heartbreaking. Two young people taken so violently by someone they trusted.
