Australian citizens aboard a Flydubai flight bound for Tel Aviv have been confirmed as safe, according to the Australian foreign minister. The aircraft was dramatically diverted to Saudi Arabia after one of the pilots allegedly stabbed the other during the journey.
The Israeli embassy in Australia confirmed on Thursday that the passengers involved are a Jewish couple from Sydney.
