The black bear known as ‘Yellow 2120’ has reappeared in an Altadena neighborhood, continuing a pattern of moving between residential crawlspaces. The 550-pound animal became widely recognized after taking up residence under a home in November 2025, but he has since been displaced from other locations in the area.
Residents reported spotting Yellow 2120 in a crawlspace on Minoru Drive on Monday. Despite being driven out of previous homes, the bear has repeatedly returned to the community, leading locals to describe him as persistent and difficult to manage.
