Direct air connectivity between Azerbaijan’s capital and Belgium’s capital is anticipated to launch next year, according to a recent announcement from the Azerbaijan Tourism Board.
In a statement released on September 29, 2026, the CEO of the board confirmed that flights connecting Baku and Brussels are currently in the planning stages with a projected start date of 2027.
The development marks a significant step in Azerbaijan’s strategy to boost international tourism and strengthen transport links with key European hubs. The introduction of this route would provide easier access for Belgian and EU travelers looking to explore destinations within the Caspian region.
This planned expansion follows broader efforts by the Central Asian nation to diversify its travel offerings and attract more visitors from Western Europe.
